David has made 20 albums of his songs, and toured extensively in Canada and the UK, where his first 4 albums were made, and performed also in Holland, Germany, USA, Guatemala and Guyana.

He has had many television appearances and sung or been interviewed on radio numerous times. One wing of his work, has been his children's songs. He has appeared on CBC TV's "Mr. Dress Up" several times, at children's festivals and at hundreds of elementary schools in Canada.

He has performed in venues as varied as the Albert Hall in London, U.K., a castle in Holland, outdoors in the Stein Valley of British Columbia, and the Winnipeg Convention Centre. He has been funded by the Secretary of State, Canada, to write songs with educational content, and been commissioned to write his "People of the Salmon"songs, about Native People of the Pacific North West, by the Vancouver School Board. He has written songs for a National Film Board of Canada film, "Song of the Paddle". He has written over 1600 songs about a wide variety of human subjects, including Native People of the Americas, Immigrant People, the Earth, World Peace. Children, Man/Woman, and the Journey to Health and Wholeness.
